The video was great and easy to understand. Once I went to the delicious site, though, I was alittle overwhelmed by all the information there! I checked out the tags on Zillow.com (real estate site) because it showed 13,900 people following it, but most of the comments were repeats ~ I didn't "get it". I did find some bookmarks for Willa Cather! I liked the tagroll on Holdrege library's webpage. I was disappointed that I couldn't just type in "Holdrege Library"
for the username on delicious, there couldn't be a space between the two words! So you do have to know the other person's username.
If I were to assign tags for NebraskAccess, they could be any of the categories under "click links", and even more defined such as: health & medicine, famous Nebraskans, economics, book series, etc...there would be alot!
I searched "bulletin boards" and found several useful sites. Someone, in an earlier "Thing", brought this up & now I have some good ideas for our bulletin boards!
Delicious would be helpful for research assistance as long as you've found legitimate sites, there's still alot of garbage out there and it would take some time to sort them out. It would be a fun tool to use for book clubs, esp. if you aren't able to make it to a meeting, or have the book read in time. It does a better job of keeping your bookmarks in order.
